1. ASSISTED LIVING
Sometimes a cottage resident is able to retain independence for longer, with the introduction of support services, e.g. cleaning and laundry, frozen meals or main meals eaten in the Care Centre dining room, supervision of medication, help with showering etc. Two different levels of assisted living are available on "The Hill" and in Garden Court. 2. ASSISTED CARE
Once admitted to the Care Centre, the resident is assessed and a personalized Care Plan is drawn up and implemented.
3. DEMENTIA CARE
We have an area set aside for those with dementia. This accommodates ten people and has its own dining room, lounge, and enclosed garden with a gazebo.
All the bedrooms are fitted with wash basins and cupboards. Residents are free to furnish their rooms in their own style, using favourite furniture, curtains and mementoes The rooms are fitted with an emergency call system. All rooms have a connection for SABC 1, 2 & 3, ETV.
We offer a full day'’s programme run by our Occupational Therapist.
